The R300 delivers effective low-impact cardio and a true total-body workout. The rowing movement drives high-intensity, calorie-burning cardio while working the quadriceps, hamstrings, abdominals, obliques, lats, biceps, triceps, hip flexors and more.
User-controlled air resistance puts you in full control for a balanced, coordinated workout, and the self-generating design eliminates any power requirement for use in home or commercial settings. A precision-engineered flywheel minimises noise, while the nickel-plated chain offers outstanding durability in even the most intense environments. A textured, ergonomic handle keeps your hands and arms in a natural position, fully adjustable footrests keep you secure, and an integrated holder keeps your phone in view for entertainment or tracking.
The interactive Bluetooth console reports time, heart rate, calories, paddle width, stroke rate, distance, cycle and watts, connects to the Kinomap, EXR and D-Fit apps, and is Polar-compatible (any 5.3 Hz chest-belt monitor will pair; chest belt sold separately). Is the R300 a good alternative to a Concept2?

Is the R300 stable enough for tall or heavier users?
Yes. It's rated to a 149 kg user weight with a long 119 cm seat rail and a heavy steel frame. Reviewers up to 6'1" / 120 kg report a rock-solid, wobble-free stroke.
Is air resistance better than magnetic?
Air resistance scales with your effort — pull harder and it pushes back harder — which gives a more realistic, dynamic rowing feel. Magnetic resistance stays flat at a set level. Air is what serious and competitive rowers train on.
Is it noisy?
Like all air rowers, the flywheel produces a fan-like "whoosh" under load. The R300's flywheel is engineered to keep that to a minimum, but it isn't silent the way a magnetic rower is.
Does it need to be plugged in?
No. The R300 is self-generating — the console powers itself as you row, so you can place it anywhere.
Can I track my workouts and connect apps?
Yes. The Bluetooth console connects to Kinomap, EXR and D-Fit, and pairs with Polar-compatible 5.3 Hz heart-rate chest belts (sold separately).
Is it hard to assemble or store?
Assembly is straightforward — comparable to flat-pack furniture — and it ships as a single box. It separates into 2 pieces and/or stands upside down for easy storage between sessions.

During my search for a quality air rower I came across the Body Solid Endurance R300 rower. Initially I had some questions concerning the product warranty so i reached out to Best Fitness for some clarification. Locus from the team got back to very quickly and clarifified that warranty is fully coverd in Australia. I then asked lucas a few more questions and he promtly replied each question with photos as evidence. By this point I was 100% sold as the customer service levle is excellent. Machine arrived at my door after 1.5 weeks in excellent condition. No issue with the installation and set up process. Quality seems to be pretty good without any noice for faulty parts out of the box. Now the important part, at this price point, this machine is much much much better value than the Concept 2. Obviously there are some mechanical and specification differences between the two machines but it just put a really big smile on my face knowing that i just spent half the money on a solid rowing machine that is smooth, quite and looks really good !! If you are still deciding on this product, reach out to the team and you will be sold , just like me.

I've been looking at getting a rower for home use since it's a major part of my training when at the gym. My go to has always been the Concept2 as many will agree... it's the industry standard.
Following much research and seeing so many positive reviews from multiple sources I took the plunge and went with the R300. I am so happy I did, it's every bit as good as the C2 and has a fantastic warranty. The build quality is rock solid and super stable, I'm 6ft1, 120kg and this thing doesn't even know I'm on it.

1st Time Rower - loving this machine
Ok - so I'm 69yo and want to stay fit. I thought a rowing machine would be a good all-body exercise. (I used to swim more than I do now, but I'm pretty active anyway). 2 weeks in, I'm improving technique and slowly feeling the benefits of my r300. I'm not trying to " bust-it" yet, just building slowly. So far - so good. The Endurance r300 is super, feels solid, smooth and very well built. Easy to assemble! I'm impressed, at this point - early days though. Can I recommend the machine - a big YES !!..... now to see if the body can match the high standard !!? 🤔😃

It's a professional rowing machine that you could see in any commercial gym.
Leaning forward at the start of the stroke, it's important that your arms are extended past the foot-plates, which the R300 accommodates beautifully. Screen information does the job well. The metal cable 'rope' attached to the handle and flywheel is an excellent addition for longevity.

I have been using a Concept 2 at gyms for decades and struggle to tell the difference between it and the R300. I've had my R300 and six months and have found it smooth and reliable. I've just bought another one for my brother. Best Fitness' service is outstanding. They have been responsive and supportive at all stages of my purchases and even afterwards (when I took the rower apart to move it and unhooked the pulley by my stupid mistake). In the process of putting it back together I was also impressed by the rock solid materials and inner workings of the R300.

Superb Piece of Equipment
The rower was beautifully packaged, impeccably finished, all parts were well labelled, and it screwed & bolted together quickly and without incident. The rower itself is incredibly sturdy, smooth as silk in its operation, and just looks and feels like a premium product. The counter is clear and well-positioned. Can't fault the product or the communication from the delivery contractors, either. There's little else to say!

Great machine
The rower was posted promptly after ordering, arrived fairly quickly to remote West Aust. My brother helped me to put it together, following clear instructions. I've been using it quite a bit and love it so far. I'm not an experienced rower, but in the past at the gym it was my go to. I've had hip replacements from a young age, now 63 and combine swimming and the rower for exercise. Both are low impact on my hip, so perfect combo to keep me fit. Am using YouTube videos to learn technique and have started a program, working my way up from 15 mins a day. Feel bloody good after a session. The rower is easy to use, and seems solid. Couldn't be happier.
