Powerline Vertical Leg Press

3 items left

A compact, space-saving vertical leg press that builds powerful quads, glutes and hamstrings at home — plate-loaded, with three safety lockout positions, at a value price.

The Powerline by Body-Solid PVLP156X stands your leg press upright to save floor space, so you can train your lower body hard even in a bedroom, basement or garage. Load it with plates, lie back on the supportive pad, and press.

  • Space-saving vertical design: a full leg press in a compact, upright footprint that fits bedrooms, basements and garages.
  • Isolates the lower body: targets your quads, glutes and hamstrings with a stable, supported press.
  • Three lockout positions: dual-adjustable ½″ locking pins give you three safe start and stop points.
  • 182 kg weight capacity: durable alloy-steel construction with a tough powder-coat finish for years of use.
  • Comfortable and secure: an extra-thick back pad, a contoured head-and-neck pad and a diamond-plate, non-slip press deck lock you into position.
  • Plate-loaded: takes Standard (1″) plates, or Olympic (2″) plates with optional adapter sleeves (plates and sleeves sold separately).

The PVLP156X lets you bulk up your lower body in the comfort of your own home. Its unique vertical design reinforces support for your back and hips while minimising the space the machine takes up — so it fits easily in bedrooms, basements and garages where a horizontal leg press never could.

To use it, add plates to the three 2.54 cm (1″) weight posts, lie back on the pad and press upward with your legs. Dual-adjustable ½″ locking pins set three different start and stop positions, while a diamond-plate steel press deck gives non-slip control. The extra-thick back pad and contoured head-and-neck pad keep you in the proper exercise position, nylon bushings encourage a smooth motion, and durable alloy-steel construction with a tough powder-coated finish holds up to long-term use. Rated to a 182 kg capacity.

Olympic adapter sleeves and weight plates are sold separately.

Why choose a vertical leg press over a horizontal one?
A vertical leg press stands upright, so it takes up far less floor space — it fits in bedrooms, basements and garages where a horizontal sled leg press (like the GCLP100 or GLPH1100B) won't. You give up a little capacity and the hack-squat option, but you keep effective, supported leg training in a compact footprint.

What plates does it take?
It has three 2.54 cm (1″) weight posts, so it takes Standard (1″) plates directly, or Olympic (2″) plates with optional adapter sleeves. Plates and sleeves are sold separately.

How much weight can it hold?
It's rated to a 182 kg capacity, which is plenty for effective quad, glute and hamstring training at home.

Is it safe to use on my own?
Yes. Dual-adjustable ½″ locking pins give you three start and stop positions, and the diamond-plate deck and supportive back, head and neck pads keep you locked into the right position.

How much space does it need?
Just a compact 115 × 120 cm footprint, with an adjustable height of 137–155 cm — small enough for a bedroom, basement or garage.

How is it delivered?
It ships free from our Adelaide warehouse in a single box. Orders are dispatched the next business day, with delivery typically 3–8 business days to metropolitan areas.

How the PVLP156X compares

A leg press doesn't have to dominate the room. Here's where the compact vertical PVLP156X sits against two larger Body-Solid presses.
