Three questions narrow it down: how much frame you need, how heavy you lift, and how much height you have.
A full power rack (four posts) lets you lift inside the cage with safety bars on both sides. Choose the Best Fitness BFPR100R, our best-value power rack for home gyms, the Powerline PPR200X walk-in power rack, the Powerline PPR1000X full cage power rack or the Rugged Y100 heavy-duty power rack. A half rack (two posts, open back) takes less floor space and uses spotter arms instead of a cage: the Powerline PPR500X compact half squat rack or the Rugged Y120 heavy-duty half rack. For low ceilings there is the Powerline PMP150 multi-press rack (181 cm tall), and the simplest option is the Powerline PSS60X squat rack.
Weight ratings run from 180 kg on the PSS60X to 454 kg on the Rugged Y120. The Powerline racks use 2″ × 2″ steel. The Rugged racks use heavier 2″ × 3″ 11-gauge steel with Westside hole spacing through the bench and press zone, and carry a lifetime frame warranty.
Most of our racks stand 209–211 cm tall and the Rugged racks 227 cm. Every full and half rack has a straight pull-up bar across the top, so leave clearance above the rack for pull-ups and overhead pressing, and check the ceiling height before you order.

A power rack surrounds you with four posts and safety bars on both sides, which is the safest set-up for heavy solo squats and bench presses. A half rack gives you the same J-cups and safeties in an open-back frame that takes less floor space and is easier to load. Both let you add lat and dip attachments.
Our two half racks take about 128 cm × 129–133 cm of floor space. The Powerline PPR500X stands 211 cm tall and the Rugged Y120 227 cm. Leave room behind the rack to load plates and step back with the bar, and check your ceiling height if you will use the pull-up bar.
For most home gyms the Best Fitness BFPR100R is the value choice: 227 kg capacity, lift-offs and safety bars included, and 115 × 120 cm of floor space. If you lift heavier or want more attachments, the Powerline PPR1000X full cage takes 317 kg, and the Rugged Y100 takes 445 kg on 2″ × 3″ 11-gauge steel with a lifetime frame warranty.
Yes, on most of them. The BFPR100R, PPR500X, PPR1000X, Y100 and Y120 each have their own lat attachment, and dip, weight horn and extension attachments fit several racks. The Optional Attachments section on each rack's page lists the ones that fit.
